Begin Thumb Gusset:

Next: Knit 2 rows even.

Next: Knit 2 rows even.
Next row: K to marker, kfb in 1st stitch after marker, and kfb in last stitch before marker. K the stitches in-between these two increases. (9 stitches between markers)
Next: Knit 1 row even.
Next row, K to stitch marker, place stitches between marker on waste yarn. CO 2 st on right hand needle, K to end of row.
K even until mitten measures 4” about thumb gusset. ( I knit 19 rows.)
